What the book Atomic Habits is About

This book is a perfect guide to understand and implement the science behind building habits to improve their lives. Atomic Habits implies about tiny habits that can change your life in a good or in a bad way. The philosophy behind this book is that to make big changes happen we need to make small increments by working on the atomic habits that compound over time to give us the desired result. Thus, the secret to success doesn’t lie in one big move, but in small actions that we do consistently over a period of time. This book will help you identify and enable those small actions consistently.

Review

To write a great book, you must first become the book. James Clear has himself applied everything that he tries to teach people about habit building in his book. The book starts with his story of how a life-threatening accident led him to his journey of habit building. The book explains about our habits and how they make us who we are. The four stages of habit building and four laws of habit building are what forms the crux of the book. The language of the book is simple and the solutions and tools offered are practical and easily implementable.

The book contains lot of case studies along-with real-life examples in order to explain its context. The frequent use of visuals helps in better comprehension of the text. The author has tried to break things down point-wise in the form of frameworks so that readers can understand easily.  Almost, everything the author says seems important, which can be proved through large number of quotes that are highlighted in my book .

Conclusion

Thus, if I had to recommend a book, where building good habits is probably one of the biggest challenges faced then this will be the one.
